Megan, Sean, and Caiden -- Family Portrait Session

Hi everybody! I had the huge honor of being asked to do a family session this week for a fellow photographer, so I would like you all to meet Megan McGee, her super cool husband Sean, and her beyond adorable son Caiden. You guys have heard me talk about Megan before as she has been an indispensable  photographer with us on our recent weddings. Our plan was to meet at Harlinsdale Farm for “just a few shots” before we went into Franklin to get a different backdrop for the session. “Just a few shots” turned into “just a few hours” with all the great spaces in Harlinsdale and the patience of this crew, so we left ourselves short on light by the time we ventured into Franklin --- but the silver lining of our procrastination was a superb sunset by the pond in Harlinsdale!!!! Megan is an amazing photographer in so many areas but she's a real force to recon with for family and child photography, SO I need to be honest and tell you guys that I was feeling more than a little pressure/nerves about getting some images that would be worthy of this great family. Megan, Sean, and Caiden made it all so very easy that the nerves and pressure just fell away with the first click of the shutter. Thanks Guys!!!  I would like to also give a special thanks to Mary Lawson who came along for the session and acted as a second photographer and was a great help with the our lighting needs. Thanks to everybody for a truly fun outing and some great images.

Enjoy!  Allan
