Amanda and Tim's Engagement Session

Happy Sunday everybody!   Meet Amanda and Tim who are getting married in exactly 3 weeks! Their wedding will be at the beautiful historic Carnton Plantation in Franklin. What a truly wonderful place for their wedding and we are beyond excited with the thought of sharing their big day. We had a ball yesterday afternoon doing engagement photos with them, but more importantly we enjoyed getting to know them as a couple. We met at Harlinsdale Farm in Franklin and then dropped by Merridees Bakery for a little pick-me-up. Thanks to Amanda and Tim, we now know that Merridees will drop a scoop of ice-cream on top of almost anything they make -- this may become part of the plan for every session. Amanda and I had joked about being concerned with Tim and I getting side tracked by our common love for all things construction, but boy were we wrong. It tuned out that the side-track issues came from Tim and Susan's common love of cooking and wonderful foods. We shot between the descriptions of mouth watering recipes and great restaurants. I think I just figured out why we had to grab a little something to curb our cravings.

Congratulations Amanda and Tim. We are so excited you guys found each other! We cannot wait for October 3rd! Enjoy the photos -- I think Susan I need to get out the door for a little something sweet with a scoop of ice-cream on top.
